Two new partnerships to nurture families in Northland
Local māmā are thrilled with gifts of warm clothing for their tamariki.
We’re proud to welcome a powerful new collaboration with Nurturing Families and The Period Place. Thanks to these partnerships, Rongopai House Community Trust can now offer additional support for families in Kaitaia, including nappies, formula, hygiene products and more for local māmā and whānau.
Nurturing Families partners with over 180 organisations across Aotearoa to distribute essential items for babies and children – from cots and car seats to clothing and toiletries.
The Period Place is a not-for-profit organisation working to improve period equity in Aotearoa, through education, advocacy and providing free period products to those who need them most.
This initiative enhances our existing programmes such as Feed My Lambs and Mother’s Support Packs, helping us provide holistic care for vulnerable families in Te Hiku o Te Ika.
At the heart of this partnership is a shared belief: Every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. Together, we’re making that vision a reality.
